The Senior Marketing Coordinator with Carers WA is a full-time, fixed-term contract ending June 2027. The position attracts a salary package of $90,000 p.a., plus super and salary packaging, 5 weeks annual leave (including 17.5% leave loading on annual leave) and two wellness days per annum.

Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations providing a range of support services, supporting Carers across Western Australia. Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental health challenges, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.

About the Role:
The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the delivery of marketing, communications, brand and engagement strategies and initiatives with an aim to increase awareness, participation and outcomes for the organisation.
This position leads on a variety of marketing projects and initiatives to enhance the organisation’s reach and brand profile and is responsible for the coordination, implementation and evaluation of a range of high-quality outputs including multi-channel marketing campaigns, collateral development and management, stakeholder engagement, and event management.
In addition, the role provides expert advice, guidance and consultation across the organisation ensuring compliance with brand and content guidelines, and ensuring that activities meet the organisation’s overarching strategic and business objectives, mission, policies and procedures.

Essential Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering strategic marketing and communication plans which align to organisation values and business objectives.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating effective marketing campaigns/initiatives/activations (traditional and digital).
- Experience in providing senior-level advice, guidance and support to immediate team members and wider organisation.
- Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- Experience in content creation for a wide variety of channels and audiences.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design software, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. (Premiere Pro/Rush highly advantageous) and advanced general computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office, client management systems, e-marketing software and website content management systems, and analytic tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to present information concisely and confidently.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a flexible approach, as well as being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Current C class drivers licence and National Police Clearance issued within the last three months (or ability to obtain).
