The Role
This is a Sales and Business Development Role where your focus lies on targeting new customers, with a hint of account management of existing customers to get you going when you join.
You will sell the hire of pumps. These are all highly specialist pumps. Examples include submersible pumps, mining pumps, skid pumps, trailer pumps ranging from 3" to 12" in size.
You will target a wide variety of markets across Newcastle, Hunter and Sydney although the majority of customers in these industries are based in the Hunger Region.
Market segments to target include Mining, Quarries, Construction, Waste Water, Councils and the list goes on. There is no limit on the type of customers you could target - you decide.
About You
Proven Sales Experience in a Hunter Role where you have targeted New Business
Technical understanding of pumps is required as these are complex and technical.
Prior experience in the hire industry is ideal as this is a fast paced environment. If you prefer slow sales process, this role is not for you.
However, if you can demonstrate you have what it takes and proven new business sales experience selling to mining, quarries and construction, you will be considered!
Experience selling to mining, quarries, construction, waste water.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Good customer rapport and relationship building skills
Salary
On offer is a competitive base salary + unlimited commission
Commission is based on a % of sales, unlimited, so you can truly earn some serious $$$ if you enjoy hunting for new business and are prepared to work in a faced paced environment. In this role, you should easily be earning $120,000 - $140,000 per year including commissions. Some of our BDMs are exceeding these numbers.
