This role will be focussed on the Land team’s Invasive Species projects. The successful candidate will work closely with Traditional Owners, Rangers, researchers and other stakeholders to deliver island-scale pest eradication projects.
This position is Identified which signifies that the role has a strong involvement in issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
You are required to build and maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owners to deliver invasive species management and/or eradication initiatives in partnership with TSRA.
This position is based on Thursday Island but may need to travel across the region and Northern Peninsula Area.
