PROJECT MANAGER

STAG specialise in high end retail joinery manufacture and fit outs for International Clients. In this role you will be part of a project management team and will assist with the procurement process, written submissions, and liaising with our subcontractors and suppliers. This position will be based out of our Bayswater VIC office on a permanent basis. This role will involve travel interstate as projects require.

This role will include but not limited to:

Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including potential and current clients, suppliers, employees, contractors, and others.

Source, negotiate, and secure quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

Generate and manage Purchase Orders for various trades, ensuring precision and alignment with budget expectations.

Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to completion, ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Produce weekly updates of each project to issue to clients.

Deliver projects on schedule and within allocated budgets.

Manage scope adjustments, project variations, and rectify defects as they arise.

Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements.

Provide clear leadership and guidance to direct reports and on-site teams.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and support seamless project delivery.

Coordinate the ordering of materials from the Factory or external suppliers and schedule deliveries accordingly.

The successful candidate will have:

5+ years experience working in a project management role within the joinery, shopfitting and construction industries.

Strong client interpersonal skills, confidence, and professionalism.

High level attention to detail and the ability to work to set timeframes.

Time management and ability to work across multiple projects, at times.

An innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
