We are seeking skilled and motivated support workers to join our growing team in Tamworth NSW. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care, reinforcing therapeutic strategies, and ensuring adherence to behaviour support plans.

Position Overview:

We are recruiting dedicated support workers to provide essential daily living support. Care will be delivered at the participant’s home and in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with household tasks, including stripping and making beds, general tidying, laundry, and possible meal prep.

Provide support with personal organisation and daily routines is a must.

Accompany the participant with future outings into the community.

Maintain accurate shift notes and follow behaviour support strategies.

Shift Details:

Monday to Friday - 1pm to 3pm

Saturday & Sunday - 1pm to 3pm

Pay Rates:

Day Shift: $41.76 – $43.08

Afternoon Shift: $45.94

Saturday: $58.47

Sunday: $75.17

Public Holiday: $91.88

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must hold (or be willing to obtain):

National Police Check

Yellow Card/National Disability Worker Screening Clearance

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

Right to Work Status

Manual Handling Certificate

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Valid Driver’s Licence (ability to drive client’s vehicle)

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Nursing studies with paid experience

Preferred Experience & Skills:

✅ Proven experience supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries/ Spinal Cord Injuries
✅ Proven ability to drive clients and assist in the community
✅ Experience assisting clients with physical disability
✅ A compassionate and professional approach
✅ Strong attention to detail for documentation and care plan adherence
