About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team and play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

This is a permanent full time position, working 38 hours a week with the opportunity to earn overtime.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday (7.30am – 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am – 11.30am).

Key responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring efficient handling of goods.
• Receive and inspect goods for quality, quantity, correct labelling, and packaging against purchase orders.
• Book goods into stock using our computer system and accurately put away stock into warehouse locations using a scanner.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch to customers and prepare raw materials for manufacturing.
• Manage stock movement and replenishment within the warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Promote and participate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Forklift licence essential.
• Experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills for stock management tasks.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work well in a team.
• Physical ability to safely perform manual handling tasks.
