An exciting opportunity to join the Operations team as a Warehouse Assistant WA is now available. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor WA, you will need to be highly organised, reliable, be able to work autonomously, be a problem solver and be a team player. This is a permanent position with hours offered between 30-38 per week. We can offer some flexibility in working hours for the right candidate.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders in accordance with the priorities set by the Warehouse Supervisor and policies set by the business

Receiving inbound stock

Undertaking ‘spot’ and rolling stocktakes in accordance with the systems prescribed

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and having a proactive approach to keeping a clean and tidy workspace

Ensuring continuity of supply of materials and consumables by reporting any shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor

Assisting with warehouse optimisation and reconfiguration

Able to cover periods of leave for the Warehouse Supervisor.

High levels of organisation skills, attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving skills

Commitment to customer service excellence

A good attitude, a strong work ethic and highly motivated to produce consistently high-quality results

A desire to effectively contribute to the success of the warehouse and wider team

Physically fit, able to lift cartons, traverse stairs and assist in unloading containers

A forklift license and reliable transport is essential to this position.
