Support Worker

CAPAH Multicultural Association Incorporated Illawarra and South Coast Community Services & Development Aged & Disability Support - Servicing from Berry to Ulladulla (2540 and 2541 postcodes).

We are currently looking for a Support workers to join us, working a minimum of 20 hours per week across weekdays and weekends.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide personal care and support in a range of activities of daily living intended to meet the consumer’s defined goals. These can include hygiene, dressing and grooming, community access, social support, shopping, meal preparation, respite support and domestic assistance.

Skills and experience Required:

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual support, disability, community services or equivalent

First Aid Certificate

A current National Police certificate

Current driver's license with registered and reliable vehicle

Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role

Ability to pass a clearance check via NDIS and Aged Care/ Vulerable people

Desirable:

Ability to speak a second language

Completion of “ Assist with Medication” unit or equivalent
