Experienced Storeperson is required for a full-time position at our Smeaton Grange branch of Dunn & Farrugia Fencing & Gates.

The person we seek must:

• Have a forklift licence
• Be able to work alone or as part of a team
• Be hands-on, proactive, self-motivated & organised
• Have an impeccable attendance record.
• Be well presented and committed to their employment
• Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times.
• Have recent experience working in a warehouse environment
• Be physically capable of lifting/moving heavy and bulky items
• Have experience using warehouse computer systems & Scanning
• Have well-developed interpersonal communication skills
• Be honest, trustworthy, and reliable

In your role you will be responsible for:

• Ordering & receiving stock
• Loading and unloading products
• Picking & packing orders
• Stock Control
• Handle stock queries
• Liaise with other staff
• Performing quality checks on stock
• Communicating with a variety of people to help the smooth running of the warehouse and to ensure acceptable levels of stock are maintained and goods are delivered on time
• Keep warehouse/storeroom clean, tidy and well organised
• Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety whilst following policies and procedures

The successful applicant MUST have a forklift licence, have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate a willingness to work

As this position is based in Smeaton Grange, preference will be given to applicants living within a 20km radius.

• Hours are 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday
