Our client was initially established as an accounting practice nearly 15 years ago and they have grown and evolved to be a very successful and well know boutique accounting practice of around 40 staff members. THE OPPORTUNITY

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals
• Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc
• Assist to manage client relationships
• Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders
• Mentor and review work for junior members of staff
• Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy and deadlines are met

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

• A Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in a similar management role.
• CA or CPA qualified
• 8+ years’ experience in tax and business advisory
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and other staff members.
• High level of organisation and prioritisation.
• High level of time management and the ability to meet deadlines/follow through on tasks.
• A Can-Do and proactive nature and work style
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines & time pressures.
