About the role

Hydeng is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Fitter to join our thriving Hydraulics team in Sale, Victoria. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic components as well as some bespoke equipment, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a range of mechanical components including pumps, motors, cylinders and numerous other mechanical components

Carry out maintenance tasks to the highest standards

Perform component overhaul and replacement as required

Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain accurate records and job documentation

Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in mechanics or a related trade

Demonstrated experience as a Mechanic or Fitter.

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers

A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
