Workfast is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join a busy park maintenance crew in Canberra. You will primarily operate a Ventrac mower across steep and uneven terrain, while also assisting with general park maintenance tasks.

• 6:30 am - 2:36 pm, Immediate start
• $39.18 per hour + OT + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Ventrac mower across varied and challenging parkland terrain
• Assist with park maintenance tasks
• Travel between sites across Canberra as needed
• Carry out tasks as directed by the site supervisor
• Maintain high standards of safety and equipment care

What You’ll Need:

• Full working rights in Australia
• White Card
• Loader, Excavator or similar machinery licence (relevant to plant operation)
• Manual Drivers License (MR highly beneficial)
• Proven experience operating plant, preferably mowing on slopes or uneven surfaces
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Attention to detail and professional work ethic
