The Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll directly drive business success by capturing, analysing, and delivering data insights. You’ll enable smarter decision-making through reports, dashboards, analytics, and application development and maintenance. You’ll also contribute to AI integration projects, maintain and create internal applications, and manage API integrations between systems. General IT support will be required from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyse and interpret data sets; identify trends and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data needs and deliver effective solutions.
Develop, maintain, and improve business applications, including our in-house software.
Lead and support API integrations across platforms and systems.
Assist with the implementation and application of AI tools and technologies within the business.
Identify and resolve data anomalies and discrepancies.
Document processes for data handling and analysis.
Provide basic to intermediate IT support to teams and sites as needed.
Skills and Experience
Strong background in data analysis with relevant qualifications.
Solid experience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and API integration.
Understanding of BI (Business Intelligence) methods and tools.
Experience with application creation and maintenance.
Exposure to AI technologies and their practical implementation (highly regarded).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other operating systems.
Highly autonomous and efficient; able to manage multiple tasks without close supervision.
Strong written and verbal English skills.
Knowledge of labour trends and workforce data is a bonus.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
