We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Paralegal to join our high-performing legal and credit team.
This role offers rare exposure to commercial lending decision-making through close collaboration with our Credit Committee, alongside hands-on experience managing securities, settlements, and recoveries across the country.

Key Responsibilities

Review commercial loan and security documentation, including loan agreements, deeds of guarantee and indemnity, and general security agreements.

Manage the lodgement and release of securities across Australia, including caveats, mortgages, and PPSR registrations.

Coordinate all aspects of property settlements, refinances, and titling matters.

Conduct legal due diligence on real property, borrowers, and related parties.

Review and enhance internal policies and procedures to support lending compliance.

Become an important part of the Credit Committee

About You

Minimum 5 years' experience as a paralegal in commercial lending, banking & finance, or property law.

Strong technical understanding of loan transactions, securities, and property titling across multiple jurisdictions.

Exposure to credit committee processes and an understanding of private lending structures relating to property transactions (preferred but not essential).

Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines with precision.

Confident and professional communicator when dealing with clients, referrers, lawyers, and agents.

Capable of working independently while contributing to a tight-knit, high-performing team.
