Are you a skilled nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our leadership team and help provide high-quality care in our Residential Care Home.
About the Role:
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will assist in managing the nursing team and overseeing clinical operations. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will ensure the delivery of compassionate, person-centered care, maintain compliance with health standards, and support staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care.
- Oversee daily unit operations and resident care, ensuring care plans are followed.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through training and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure policies and procedures are followed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
