Some of your responsibilities will include:
Contract Management Tasks
• Actively manage contracts and project agreements ensuring that all parties obligations are met through the adaption and implementation of contemporary best practice contract management frameworks.
• Develop clear and concise contractual documentation to lead and/or support the development and negotiation of contracts, progressing contract variations, proactively monitoring and managing suppliers' performance.
• Actively manage, build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including working closely with suppliers to develop and implement performance management regimes.
• Attend and facilitate when required, meetings with various stakeholders related to management of contracts including contract meetings with suppliers, governance and project working groups.
• Develop and provide advice on the contracts and key risks, implementing appropriate measures to identify and mitigate risks on an on-going basis.
Contract Administration Tasks
• Perform financial and data-based analysis of contracts; including reporting and payment processes with suppliers ensuring analysis of claims, accurate recording of relevant data and provision of reports as required.
• Apply clear and concise communication skills including preparation of correspondence, briefs, presentations and reports in response to priorities and direction.
• Actively assist in the management of process workflows, communications, reporting and record keeping as well as provide governance and other support relating to the contracts.
Requirements of the role
• Contract Management Experience: preferred minimum three (3) years contract management experience.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Performance Management Regimes: ability to monitor and manage performance of contractual obligations, resolve disputes and performance issues with suppliers.
• Communication skills: High level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Continuous Growth: Experience in pursuing continuous growth with taking personal accountability for learning and eagerly pursues new knowledge and experiences.
• Sound Governance: Strong attention to detail and sound governance by evaluating possible solutions and take appropriate steps to mitigate risks.
