The Open Pit Supervisor will report to the Project Manager and is responsible on a day-to-day basis for the supervision and coordination of the mining crew, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Work Location: Mega Resources Mt Celia mine, located in the northern Goldfields region, though opportunities exist throughout our portfolio within the goldfield’s region.

Roster: 2:1 ex Perth direct to Site from Jandakot Airport

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mining activities in adherence to statutory compliance.
• Ensuring safe and efficient open pit production
• Provide a concise and informative PSI meeting each shift
• Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEC standards and procedures
• Work closely and liaise with all departments to ensure schedules are achieved
• Populate accurate and timely daily production metrics
• Optimise available resources to best achieve an efficient production outcome in line with set targets
• Ongoing feedback and direction to operators with regard to training and career progression, including disciplinary action when required

About You

Experience: 10+ years’ experience in a mining environment with a minimum 5 years' experience operating frontline mining equipment. Demonstrated leadership capabilities are also essential.

Qualification: Current Australian C - Class Drivers Licence and

Capability to obtain statutory (schedule 26) Supervisor qualification
