YOUR NEW ROLE

As one of their valued key senior lawyers in Qld, reporting to the Managing Partner (an industry-leading top calibre Accredited Specialist), you will relish the challenge+autonomy+ satisfaction of obtaining justice for your clients in respect of their common law (medical negligence claims, abuse, public liability).

You will have full-spectrum carriage of your own files+ manage your own practice-obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence, legal research, providing technical legal advice, liaising with third parties, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:

are an admitted solicitor in Qld + have minimum 4-20+ YEARS experience in personal injury law including in at least 1 (preferably both) of : 1) medical negligence OR; 2) abuse law (essential);

are hands-on (essential) and desire to have your own practice+clients (NOT seeking merely a managerial/mentoring role overseeing junior lawyers);

have strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation +drafting & advocacy skills, are client-centric and results- driven;

are ambitious+ commercially astute;

have proven ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment;

are hungry to fulfil your potential to the MAX+ accelerate your medical negligence career with a leading plaintiff firm long-term.
