Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak to Junior Safety System Coordinators for a well-established commercial, Fit out, Refurb and Heritage restoration contractor in Melbourne.

This role is a minimum 3-month contract with a strong possibility of moving into a permanent position.

The Role:

• Head office-based safety systems coordinator, collaborating directly with the operations manager.
• Develop and maintain safety management systems to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigation, and analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications across different work areas and activities.
• Maintain safety documentation and records such as training logs, inspection reports, and incident registers.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence, facilitating inspections, and addressing non-conformances.
• Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s.
• Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week.

Must have:

• Strong IT technical skills.
• Ideally a Certificate in OHS/WHS.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent communication.
