Role Overview

As Construction Manager, you will lead the on-site execution of the Design, Planning, and construction of Sub station and transmission line projects.ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. With responsibility for managing diverse teams, including subcontractors, Electrical & civil operators, and crews, you will drive projects to meet critical milestones while maintaining a strong safety and environmental focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Sub Station and Transmission line projects, from initial site preparation to final commissioning.
• Manage site teams and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and alignment with project goals.
• Proide clear leadership to both Commercialand engineering Project Teams
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Lead site logistics, including resource allocation and equipment management.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA/QC teams, and stakeholders to achieve seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Liaise with local authorities, suppliers, and community stakeholders, promoting positive relationships.
• Provide detailed progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, ideally with electrical Substation and Transmission project experience experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budget management.
• Hands-on experience in 275/33kv Substation and electrical systems (preferred).
• Tertiary qualifications in construction management, civil/electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Valid Construction White Card and driver's license.
• A commitment to safety, environmental regulations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
