About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer will play a critical role in supporting the QA department to maintain high quality standards in a TGA-licensed pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities that ensure product quality, compliance with regulatory standards, and smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct very frequent production line checks and inspections to support quality assurance processes.

Verify production line start-up and clearance before manufacturing activities

Manage document control tasks such as issuing Manufacturing Work Orders and Packaging Work Orders.

Inspect, release, and maintain control over labels.

Create and review label master and inspection sheet specifications for Quality Manager authorisation.

Support the QA department with additional duties as required.

Ensure strict compliance with customer requirements and TGA's current GMP guidelines.

Prepare and review batch documentation for TGA and non-TGA products to ensure timely release.

Inspect and perform sampling of raw materials and finished products according to SOPs

Contribute to internal and external audits, maintaining a strong compliance focus.

Collaborate closely with the production and other teams to implement quality control measures and process improvements.

Maintain accurate records and data associated with all quality control activities.

Assist in developing and implementing quality control policies, procedures, and training programs.

About You:

Degree qualified in Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

1-2 years experience in pharmaceutical QA, ideally within a TGA-regulated environment.

Strong understanding of GMP standards and quality management principles.

High attention to detail with excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Hands-on experience with audits, documentation review, and production line support.

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
