We’re looking for an experienced Business Services / Tax Accountant who wants more than a desk job. Someone who thrives in client relationships, owns their work, and wants a clear path to leadership.

This is a newly created, full-time position with the chance to move into a Manager role within 12 months.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

Managing a portfolio of individual, sole trader, trust and company clients

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS and FBT

Advising clients on structures, tax planning and business performance

Owning client relationships with confidence, clarity and care

Reviewing junior team work and providing guidance as we grow

Working directly with the Principal and Finance Manager on advisory work

Identifying value-add opportunities for clients

Supporting workflow and deadlines with minimal supervision

About You:

5+ years in public practice (chartered or boutique firm preferred)

CA or CPA qualified

Confident in client meetings and consultations

Strong grasp of Australian tax law and compliance

Experienced with individual, business and SMSF returns

Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive

Strong communicator and natural relationship builder

Committed to personal growth and long-term career development

Tech-savvy, ideally experienced with Xero, BGL, Practice Ignition
