In this role, you'll be leading a team of skilled fabricators and welders to produce high-quality structural steel components for major projects across WA. What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading and supervising a team of fabricators, welders, and apprentices

Planning and coordinating daily activities to meet production schedules and quality standards

Fabricating and welding structural steel assemblies when required

Conducting quality control checks to ensure industry standards and customer requirements are met

Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment for all team members

Mentoring and developing team members, including apprentices

Collaborating with the Fabrication Manager to address any production challenges and maintain a smooth workflow

Managing resource usage and assisting in equipment maintenance

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a fabrication environment

Trade Certificate in fabrication or welding

Strong experience in structural steel fabrication and welding processes

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

Forklift ticket (preferred but not essential)

A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations

Own reliable transport
