Role summary
The OH&S Coordinator provides health safety and wellbeing advice and plays an important role in promoting workplace safety for staff, church members and volunteers.
Working within a skilled and experienced HR team the role provides injury management, training, building/workplace assessments, governance support and reporting. The role needs to stay abreast of contemporary OH&S practices, policies and procedures, advice on policies, information and promotional materials.
This role interacts with a wide range of people, delivers training and information to build and promote safe workplaces.
This is a permanent part-time role, working three days a week (0.6) based in Melbourne.
About You
To secure this role you will have:
• Qualification related to OH&S and excellent communication skills
• Ability to relate well to a broad and varied range of people
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training desirable
