About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Arc Tile Design Pty Ltd in Wingfield, SA. As a full-time Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals. What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering all materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor requirements

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing information and negotiate favourable terms

Analyse project plans, specifications, and tender documents to identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Prepare clear and comprehensive proposals and tender submissions that align with client requirements

Maintain a detailed database of cost information, including historical data and industry benchmarks

Provide input and support to the project management team throughout the construction process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and industry regulations

Proficient in the use of estimating software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities

Effective communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality
