Are you ready to step off the tools and grow into a professional estimating and planning role?
We’re opening up an exciting position for a motivated, hands-on team member, who’s looking to develop their skills, and step confidently into the next stage of their career.
This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience in home modifications who wants to move into estimating, quoting, and job planning over the next 6 to 12 months—with plenty of support and on-the-job training provided.
About the Role
As part of this evolving position, you will:
Visit clients to scope and measure home modification jobs (e.g. handrails, ramps, bathrooms)
Prepare quotes that include labour, materials, and client contributions
Communicate clearly with clients around pricing and expectations
Support job planning and scheduling with admin and project teams
Assist with hands-on work, including manufacturing rails and installations, particularly in the early stages of the role
This role is designed to transition into a full-time estimating position, supporting the coordinator, admin, and building teams to ensure quality service delivery and smooth project workflows.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who brings:
Strong practical experience in modifications or similar trades
Clear and respectful communication skills with clients and team members
High attention to detail in quoting, measurements, and documentation
A proactive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn
Flexibility to support practical work while transitioning into the estimating role
You don’t need to know everything yet—just bring the right attitude and a desire to grow.
Why Join Us?
Structured on-the-job training and mentorship
Opportunity to build a career in estimating and job planning
Supportive and collaborative team culture
A role with variety, responsibility, and growth potential
Competitive pay: $35–$40 per hour depending on experience
