We are seeking an experienced Workshop & Onsite Boilermaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, coupled with the flexibility to undertake site work as needed. This role involves working both in our workshop and onsite. Works consist of Day & Night works as required (Penalties paid for night works)

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components according to specifications.

Undertake Fabrication Checklists upon completion optimising company software.

Review Workshop dwgs/ Design briefs in collaboration with Project Managers.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functionality optimising company software

Undertake site work as required, including installation, maintenance, and repairs at client locations optimising company boilermaker specific vehicle. Weekly inspections are required on the truck for consumable stock takes. Site Works consists of Day shift & Night shift and remote working on the odd occasion.

Essential Qualifications:

Trade qualification in Boilermaking or equivalent.

National Police Clearance

White Card.

Minimum C class drivers licence with reliable transport.

Ability to pass drug and alcohol screen / pre-employment medical.

Essential Experience:

At least 5 years previous work experience as a Boilermaker.

Previous experience in the construction industry.

Essential Candidate Attributes:

Proven experience in a workshop environment with expertise in metal fabrication and welding.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to travel and perform ad hoc site work as required.

Desirable Candidate Attributes:

Experience with site work and client interaction.

Familiarity with various welding techniques and materials.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
