Boilermakers, Welders, Coded Welders, Cladders (Sheetmetal Trades Worker) & Fitters

Full Time Permanent Position

Due to the expansion in our Kalgoorlie operations we currently have vacancies for persons with Boilermaker, Welder, Coded Welder, Cladder (Sheetmetal Trades Worker) &Fitter experiences. This Position is Kalgoorlie based and not FIFO

Duties are included as below but not limited, please contact us for detailed duties for each position:

Fabricate steel or metal components according to drawing and superior instructions

Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise from and assemble metal components

Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following drawing and layout specifications, using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools

Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job

requirements

Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock

Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame

cutting torches and metal cutting machines

Ability to design and fabricate sheet metal products, such as ducting, piping and tubing

Ability to read technical drawings

Cutting, bending and stamping sheet metal in accordance with design instructions

Installing and assembling sheet metal products

Fitting and assembling products based on technical drawings

Installing and shaping products made from metal sheets

Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine

They should have the following requirements

Trade Certificate

Up to 3 Years Experience

Able to do roster work

Must be able to pass a D & A test and police clearance.

Able to Undertake Pre-employment Medical

These positions are permanent positions.

Hourly rate is $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
