Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Barrister's Assistant. In this role, you will be the front of house for chambers and will be responsible for general reception duties, handling phone and email enquiries, extensive diary management, facilitating meetings in chambers, and other general administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in law and gain valuable experience in a well-respected barristers chambers.
Responsibilities:
General reception duties.
Answering all incoming enquiries by phone and email.
Managing barristers' calendars and scheduling appointments.
Preparing various mediation and court documents at the barristers’ direction.
Liaising with law firms, courts, and other legal professionals.
Providing general administrative support to the chambers as a whole.
Requirements:
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience in a legal environment is desirable but not essential.
