GippsSAFE Security are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as Full-Time Security Officers at a new manufacturing and logistics center in Avalon. About the Role
This is a controlled Gatehouse and Reception environment where Officers are required to:
Hold Australian citizenship
Be willing and able to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (GippsSAFE Security will facilitate and support candidates through this process).
Have the ability to work a rotating roster
Duties
Security Officers working on this site will be required to perform the following duties:
Deliver an exceptional level of customer service
Protect persons and property
Control the movement of people, vehicles and goods entering/exiting the premises
Ensuring goods carried in and out of the property match and are compliant with relevant documents
Conduct internal and external foot patrols
Monitor and respond to fire or security alarms
Utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and similar software to input and manipulate data
Provide safety inductions to employees, contractors or visitors to the site

Average of 38 hours per week on a rotational roster

Skills and experience
Victorian Security License
Baseline or Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (highly desirable but not essential)
Driver's License
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
