About the Role:
As a Community Support Worker, you’ll provide individualised support to our elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve quality of life. Each day will vary as you visit multiple clients, offering assistance based on their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming, medication prompts)
• Social support and transport (e.g. medical appointments, shopping, outings)
• Domestic tasks (e.g. light cleaning, laundry, meal prep)
• Assistance with mobility and use of personal equipment
• Supporting clients with complex or high-care needs
• Monitoring and reporting on client well-being
• Documenting visit notes via mobile app

About You:

• Compassionate, friendly, and reliable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to build trust and rapport with clients
• Comfortable using mobile apps for work tasks
• Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability (Essential)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Valid National Police Check (within the last 6 months)
• Australian Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
• Smartphone with internet access
• Willingness to complete online onboarding, training modules, and attend a paid in-person induction at one of our HCA offices (Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Sunshine Coast)
