Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse - Coordinator Theatre, as part of a multidisciplinary team, directs staff & the flow of patients through their perioperative journey within Perth Children’s Hospital:
- Accountable for patient safety and quality of care through planning, coordinating, performing, facilitating, and evaluating the delivery of patient care relating to a particular group of patients, clients or staff in the practice setting.
- Support and liaise with patients, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health, support staff, external agencies to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care.
About the Service: The Perioperative Department at Perth Children's Hospital is a specialised unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care for paediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a critical component of the hospital's healthcare delivery, the department encompasses a range of specialised areas including operating theatres, post-anaesthesia care units, and surgical admissions.
