About the Role:

As an A Grade Electrician, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of domestic electrical services, including, but not limited to:

Mains Upgrades – Ensuring that the electrical systems in homes are up to code and can handle modern electrical demands.

Fault Finding – Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in a wide variety of residential systems to restore power and ensure safety.

Switchboard Upgrades – Replacing and upgrading switchboards, including safety switch installations, ensuring that all work meets the highest safety standards.

General Service Work – Working on various service tasks such as rewiring, lighting upgrades, and electrical installations for home renovations or new builds.

Customer-Focused Service – Communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and providing reliable, professional solutions.

Safety & Compliance – Adhering to all electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the homeowner.

This role offers a great deal of variety and independence, where no two days are the same. You'll be working directly in residential homes, solving problems and delivering high-quality service. What You’ll Need:

A current A Grade Electrical Licence

Experience with domestic service work such as mains upgrades, fault finding, switchboard upgrades, rewiring, and general electrical installations

A manual driver’s licence (to drive the company vehicle)

White Card for working on residential sites

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately

Excellent communication and customer service skills – You’ll be working directly with homeowners, so clear and friendly communication is key.
