About the role

Aussie Recruitment and Training is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice/Air Conditioning Technician to join our Client Airmax team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Participating in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of system issues

Learning how to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Completing relevant training and attending workshops to expand your knowledge

What we're looking for

A passion for the trades and a keen interest in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Basic mechanical and electrical skills (desirable but not essential)

A willingness to learn and a proactive approach to your development

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
