UHY Haines Norton Sydney is seeking a motivated Business Services Intermediate/Senior with up to 5 years’ experience to join one of our Business Services teams.

About the role:

As a Business Services Intermediate/Senior you will work closely with partners and seniors of the firm to provide business, accounting and tax services. Based on your level of experience, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types including trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals;
• Preparation of activity statements;
• Preparation of other statutory returns including Fringe Benefits tax, Payroll Tax and Land Tax;
• Liaising with the Tax Office and other government agencies;
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects;
• Working with accounting software - Xero/Intuit/MYOB; and
• Research on various tax issues.

Expertise and experience you will bring includes:

• Up to 5 years' business services experience in an Australian Chartered or CPA firm;
• Bachelor Degree in Commerce or equivalent;
• Studying towards or have completed the CA;
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships;
• Good problem solving skills and embrace modern technologies;
• Be a highly motivated and proactive self-starter; and
• Be eager to learn, grow and further your career.

Salary levels will be commensurate with experience, education and the ability to display exceptional communication skills.
