The Role

Knead Massage & Natural Therapies are looking for a positive, focused Remedial Massage Therapist. You will need the following attributes

Committed to building effective treatment plans and testing the effectiveness of these plans

Dedicated to learning and growing as a therapist both professionally and personally

Supportive and empathetic to both clients and the team

Able to work full time including a weekend shift and some evening shifts

Hours: Full time - 38 Hours per week

We are open 7 days from 7.30 am to 9pm. Your roster will potentially include evening and/or weekend shifts so you must be available for some evening and weekend shifts.

Remuneration:

$73,500 - $78 000 + 11.5% super and leave entitlements

Selection Criteria

Minimum Diploma of Remedial Massage

Massage Association Membership

Current First Aid

Current Insurance

Able to utilise specific Remedial skills such as MET, PNF, MFR, Trigger Point therapy

Able to perform assessment of pain and dysfunction using special tests and range of motion.

Able to provide stretching exercises and post treatment advice

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Punctual, with good time management

Able to provide health fund rebates for all health funds

Additional Desirable Skills

Dry Needling, Cupping, Taping

Corrective Exercise

Lymphatic drainage
