The Role

We are looking for someone with high energy, strong leadership, effective business acumen, and expertise in the delivery of patient centered care.

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership and cultural development of the team and the business, as well as the management and effective application of all retail and professional services strategies the pharmacy has to offer. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring efficient stock control and managing PPA claims. Your role will also involve delivering DAA services, promoting MedAdvisor sign-ups, and increasing scripts on file. You'll be working with a friendly team passionate about providing top-notch care to their community.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Lead, and mentor the whole pharmacy team.

Drive a positive culture and workplace environment.

Ensure smooth operations of the pharmacy.

Drive a consistent excellence level patient and customer experience.

Maintain a high-level provision of professional services.

Effective delivery of all services and consultations with a patient-centered focus.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal workplace and pharmacy-related legislation and guidelines.

Manage and exceed all QCPP requirements

Deliver on key financial and performance indicators of the pharmacy business, whilst creating strategic ways to grow.

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)

Current General Registration as a pharmacist (without conditions or undertakings) with AHPRA, is required

Current Immunisation Certification and completion of all required immunisation training

Current First Aid Certificate

Strong and effective communication skills

Experience in leading and developing others

Thorough understanding of financial metrics and ability to develop successful business strategies

Demonstrable experience in management of a pharmacy, with problem solving and excellent customer service skills.

Goal Orientated

Possess strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
