The Marble Bar Community Resource Centre (CRC) is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Admin & Customer Service Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (30-35 hours per week). This role is based at our office on Francis Street, Marble Bar—Australia’s hottest town!
This predominantly a front of house position dealing with the day to day core business of the CRC. With assistance to the Coordinator as required.
· Ensure the CRC is kept clean, tidy and presentable.
· Assist with implementation of community projects, events and activities.
· Assist with fulfilment of the CRC’s contractual obligations with our Peak Funding Body.
· Undertake tasks as directed by the Centre Coordinator.
· Assist customers to troubleshoot I.T issues with their phones and passwords.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
✔ Admin & customer service experience (verifiable).
✔ Computer literacy – Experience with social media and website upkeep is a bonus!
✔ Willingness to train as a Centrelink Agent (this will require a comprehensive background check).
✔ National Police Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Hosting NAIDOC lunches & Marble Bar Races
Organising BBQs, morning teas, community events & meetings
Troubleshooting technology issues for locals
Providing local information & tourist guidance
Providing clerical support for indigenous Trust Services
Continuously searching and applying for Grants
Engaging with politicians & community leaders
