We need a full-time cook with relevant qualification and experience to join our close-knit team in the kitchen of the Dhaba Innaloo restaurant.

We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:

Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident

Possesses an Australian Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery

Has worked for 2 years as a cook/chef in restaurants offering Indian cuisine

Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills

Has supervisory/management skills to manage the kitchen staff

Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand

Experience in controlling food costs and portions

Be available for work on most days, including weekends

Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies

Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained

Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure

Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
