The Desert Palm Alice Springs is seeking a receptionist to join our front office team on a full-time basis.

This position involves:

Exceptional front-line customer service including guest check-ins and check-outs

Operating a busy reservation desk with phone, email, online and walk-in reservations

Finalising guest accounts and exceeding guests’ expectations

So, if you are someone who is:

passionate and enthusiastic about customer service and have a friendly and outgoing personality

mature and experienced

well presented, confident and self-motivated

prepared to relocate to Alice Springs

With:

attention to detail and able to work under pressure

good organisational and time management skills

Communication skills (both written and verbal)

Excellent computer skills

And Preferably:

a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification

experience with Guest Point Reservation System

experience with Siteminder

shifts include 6.00am to 2.00pm or 1.00pm to 8.00pm over a 7 day roster (Monday to Sunday and public holidays)

Job Type: Full-time or Casual

Hospitality Industry (General) Award Level 4

Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per annum depending on experience
