Bache Bros, one of South Australia's premier fresh produce suppliers is currently seeking a Machine Operator / Fresh Produce Packer. This is a fast-paced environment and is perfect for someone looking for a daily challenge and wanting to work with a great team of professionals who are passionate about fresh produce. This is a full-time and ongoing position and all applicants must have the rights to work full time in Australia with no restrictions.

What you'll be doing

Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment used for fruit and produce processing and packing

Drivning a Forklift to load machinery and trucks

Manually sort, grade, and pack fresh fruits and vegetables according to quality standards

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance

Maintain a clean and organised work environment to support safe and efficient operations

Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines

Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar production/manufacturing role

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with machinery and equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Good physical fitness and endurance to handle the physical demands of the role

Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience driving a Forklift

Expected Hours

Start time will be 7am Monday to Friday, shifts typically finishing between 1-3pm

Alternate weekend morning work will also be required. Typically 5am-9am

Immediate start

38 hour weeks, overtime as required
