Mining Data Analyst

About the role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Mining Analyst to join our high-performing Mining Enablement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Australia's premier mining operations on a FIFO roster out of Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster and strengthen a positive safety culture and team performance.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for mining production.
• Develop and maintain data models and dynamic dashboards to support real-time decision-making.
• Identify and report on performance gaps, providing actionable insights to the mining production leadership.
• Analyse production and safety event data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support Finance and other key stakeholders with data for journaling and reporting.
• Engage with cross-functional site teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.

About You:

• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• A proactive team player with a positive and supportive attitude.
• Prior experience in a mining or industrial operations environment.
• Safety-conscious with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
