Senior Technical Data Business Analyst. Canberra based opportunity, 12 month contract with possibility of extensions. Hybrid working arrangement - 2 days Client Office, 3 days WFH - 40 hours p/w).

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets, including structured and unstructured data sources, to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.

2. Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement in technical data processes and develop recommendations for process enhancements.

3. Technical Data Management: Work closely with the Technical Data team to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across multiple systems and platforms.

4. Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements for technical data projects, including data standards, formats, and exchange protocols.

5. Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business needs and leverage technical data capabilities.

6. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to communicate technical data insights, recommendations, and project status.

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical data management and analytics.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView). Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
