Area Director – Early Childhood Education (QLD Portfolio, 6–9 Services Brisbane & South East Queensland)

💼 The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll take full accountability for the operational, financial, and compliance performance of your services. You’ll coach and empower Centre Directors to lead strong teams, maintain high-quality learning environments, and achieve outstanding results aligned to both regulatory standards and business goals.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Drive commercial performance through effective resource planning, cost control, occupancy growth, and revenue generation

Lead and mentor Centre Directors, cultivating a high-performance culture across your portfolio

Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, delivering consistently strong ratings and audit outcomes

Implement strategic initiatives to boost enrolments, family satisfaction, and staff retention

Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, people & culture, and marketing to align operations with broader business objectives

✅ What You’ll Bring:

Minimum Diploma-level (or higher) Early Childhood qualification (ACECQA-approved)

Demonstrated experience in multi-site operational leadership within the early education or broader services sector

Proven ability to manage budgets, analyse KPIs, and drive continuous improvement

Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks

Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a passion for coaching and developing others
