About the Role
As the Centre Manager, you will be the heartbeat of Vortex Entertainment. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring every guest has a safe, exciting, and memorable experience. From managing budgets and rosters to leading a diverse team, you’ll play a pivotal role in upholding our values and driving our mission to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff at all times.

Manage all operational aspects, including budgeting, rostering, and maintaining high standards across all divisions (Vortex Café, harness activities, workshops, and group bookings).

Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service and embody Vortex values.

Handle conflict resolution with a calm and professional approach.

Act as a brand ambassador and salesperson, promoting Vortex to the local community and beyond.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed revenue targets.

Oversee special events, school programs, and corporate team-building activities.

Work weekends and during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to:

Be detail-oriented with strong operational and time management skills.

Have a solid understanding of budgeting and rostering.

Be proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be a natural problem solver with the ability to handle issues quickly and appropriately.

Have a flair for sales and marketing, with the ability to promote the Vortex brand.

Be passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for guests of all ages.
