About the Role

We are seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to work closely with our clinical and lifestyle teams to provide high quality personal care and support to our residents. This includes:

Plan, implement and evaluate care to meet needs of individual residents with daily living activities

Ensure resident care is of high standard and promotes safety, comfort, dignity, privacy and choice

Facilitate an maintain effective communication with residents, carers, relatives, visiting medical officers and colleagues

Provide emotional support and companionship

Flexible and passionate about aged care

Both permanent part time and casual positions available

To be considered for this position, the successful applicant will have:

Minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent

Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Empathy, patience and a person-centred care approach

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Ability to create sustainable and positive relationships with colleagues, residents, families and visiting allied health specialists

A current/valid police check
