Job description:

The Alba Aged Care, comprised of 95 beds and Easy Living Apartments, comprised of 60 apartments provides customers with a continuum of options from independence through to clinical care and memory support. It offers state-of-the-art facilities within a light filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair and beauty spa, and gym along with many other activities in the Albert Park Lake area.

Our Better Together model focuses on providing the best care to our residents and work life balance for our staff. We ensure that residents will truly be able to partner with teams to create their own care plans, schedules and ensure that they are living their lives the way that they want to.

With the Better Together model and its purpose, the facility is not just be an Aged Care Facility; it will be the resident's home and we are seeking the best talent to make this possible.

Your New Role

As a Personal Care Assistant / Care Companion, you will provide care and support that enhances our resident's well-being, enabling them to live with dignity and empowerment.

You will enjoy working within our Better Together® social model of aging well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within the team, with our customers and family members
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our residents safe
  • Providing meaningful experiences which enable our residents to thrive

About You

Above all, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm, and Honest. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent care for your customers.

Does this sound like you?

  • A truly customer-centric approach with the passion to deliver real ‘care' to residents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work Part Time or casual Hours either Morning, Afternoon or Night Shifts across a seven-day roster
  • Relevant qualifications eg: Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Disability or similar
  • A driver's licence and access to a reliable car
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster and willing to get a 2025 Influenza Vaccination
