About the opportunity
Position: Clinical Nurse
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight
Location: Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team, Townsville
What's on offer?
Remuneration package of up to $132,289 p.a.
- Salary range: $107,960 - $115,604 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- Plus great Salary Sacrificing options and flexible working arrangements may be available.
About the role
- Deliver mental health nursing specific assessment, treatment and interventions as part of the multidisciplinary team, on an individual and group basis, for consumers of the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, other professionals and agencies involved with Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team in the provision of professional clinical care informed by the principles of recovery.
- Support the Team Leader, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Senior Occupational Therapist in quality processes, service innovation and clinical decision making.
Role requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
Highly desirable
- Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete the requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing.
