As a Senior Paralegal, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the team’s legal operations while contributing to a positive and efficient client experience. You’ll work closely with a Practice Leader and a collaborative team, ensuring the smooth management of matters and assisting in delivering high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to a Practice Leader
• Manage diaries and case files efficiently
• Draft correspondence and legal documentation using internal precedents
• Proofread and format legal documents to a high standard
• Prepare briefs, court documents, and applications for conciliation and arbitration at WorkCover WA
• Liaise professionally with clients, insurers, courts, medical providers and government bodies
• Coordinate medical appointments and prepare matters for conferences and hearings
• Assist with maintaining streamlined, efficient work practices across the team

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal, ideally in Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing complex files
• Excellent drafting, typing and document formatting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of empathy and client care
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in diary management and MS Office Suite
• Experience with WorkCover WA and District Court documentation (desirable)
