About the role
- Work with managers and volunteers across each facility to identify where volunteers can enhance care
- Engage with community to recruit to available volunteer positions
- Screen and onboard volunteers, gathering and retaining relevant documentation
- Provide ongoing support for volunteers by being present and available both onsite and by telephone/Microsoft Teams
- Coordinate rosters with department heads and also with volunteers
- Each week, you will have a combination of days spent at St Vincent's Darlinghurst, the Mater in North Sydney, and working from home
About you
- Personal commitment to the Mission of St Vincent's
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to develop effective relationships and partnerships
- Ability to work flexibly and responsively in larger organisations with various sites and departments
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a volunteer coordinator role or a recruitment coordinator role or a similar coordinator role
